A Lifetime With Dogs Behind Every Groom
My name is Rick Rivera and I have been a dog and animal lover since I was four years old. I have never gone a day in my life without a dog, and today I share my home with four rescue dogs and a couple of cats.
I have more than 50 years of grooming experience, and I still attend grooming seminars every year to keep up with the newest tools and products. Grooming is my way of having more than four dogs. I love making a dog look great, and I love meeting new people and their pets along the way.
When I am not grooming, I spend my time feeding street dogs and helping homeless pet owners in the Contra Costa and San Joaquin communities, and I volunteer at my local food bank every Thursday. To me, every dog I groom becomes part of a second family.
