Appointments are made by text or by leaving a message, and times are confirmed directly with Rick. I run a small, one-on-one mobile schedule, so your reserved time is held just for your dog.
Please give as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule, so I can offer the time to another pet that needs it. Repeated last-minute cancellations or missed appointments may require prepayment for future visits.
Rick's Mobile Dog Grooming serves Oakley, Bethel Island, and Brentwood, California. If you are just outside these areas, text me and I will let you know whether I can reach you.
I groom small dogs, generally under 35 pounds. This keeps every visit safe and comfortable in the mobile setup. If you are unsure whether your dog is a good fit, just ask.
Grooming can involve certain inherent risks, including minor cuts, nicks, or abrasions, skin irritation from pre-existing conditions, and stress or behavioral reactions. While every precaution is taken, you acknowledge these risks may occur.
You agree to disclose any medical, behavioral, or skin conditions before grooming. Severely matted coats may require humane shaving, which can expose or irritate the skin, and you consent to the humane removal of matting. In an emergency, you authorize Rick's Mobile Dog Grooming to seek veterinary care if you cannot be reached, and you accept financial responsibility for that care.
If a pet displays unsafe behavior, grooming may be stopped for the safety of the pet and the groomer, and you agree to pay for services completed up to that point. You release and hold harmless Rick's Mobile Dog Grooming from liability arising from grooming services except in cases of gross negligence.
For the safety of every dog I groom, please let me know about your dog's health and vaccination status when you book. A current rabies vaccination is recommended for all dogs receiving grooming services.
