Almond Country Dogs Deserve Driveway Service
Ripon calls itself the Almond Capital of the World, and the blossoms in late winter are only part of life here. Dogs walk the Stanislaus River Trail, an out-and-back route of about eight miles where leashed dogs are welcome, and Mavis Stouffer Park sits right on the river. Caswell Memorial State Park, southwest of town, protects a mature oak forest along the water. Homes include Cornerstone, Ripon Vineyards and Downtown Ripon streets. After river mud, orchard dust and dry weeds, a dog's coat can tangle and hold seeds.
I come to you in a self-contained van with warm water and a drain tank, so no mess comes into your house. I groom one small dog at a time, under 35 pounds. After river days I clean paws, brush out mud and tangles, and look for burrs. When harvest dust is in the air, a clean coat keeps small dogs more comfortable.
